"The main purpose of this knife is to make you grin when you pick it up. It is fun to hold. Sure it is effective as a camping and chopping knife. Yes the saw absolutely rips through wood. Does it remind you if a Rambo knife? Absolutely! That is the whole point of the piece. It is my take on a modern Ramboesc knife that guys my age identity with and enjoy having. Thats all.

This is a large knife. The Cerakote blade is 10 inches long, over all length is 15 3/4 inches. The guard is 2 3/4 wide. The handle is made of Carbon-Fiber and features raised and Diamond-Texture for enhanced grip. The saw teeth are split to reduce tool pressure and also help in chip clearing.

The saw back knife has a long history here in the states. The early ones were equipped with a fine saw for ripping through aluminum fuselage materials in an emergency for downed pilots. Later they were adapted for survival knives. The woodland variety has a wider saw that was intended for making square bottom notches, useful in the construction of triggering mechanisms while making small animal traps. Sawing though limbs was also considerd safer than chopping while in a survival situation. While i was in the Army we carried folding saws to camoflage our positions so as not to make much noise and give away our position. This knife would not be a candidate for military use however."
