This is Ernie Emerson's full custom version of his very early Specwar model, featuring the contoured micarta handles made the way he did it back in 1995. He designed this model as one of the knives he presented to investors when he was raising funds to buy his first production facility. It represented his forward thinking on a tactical knife that could also be utilized by police departments. Made in both spear point and tanto, there were only and handful of customs ever made; it was then chosen as a production model and set Emerson Knives on their path to success."
Extremely rare to see in satin - the first few were black bladed.
It also has the thick linerlock bar, which he first used in 2004. This Specwar might be the only one in the world.
