(I originally got this knife from Ernie back in 2010 when my name was the second called at his Lottery at the USN's Gathering in Vegas. Its still as-brand new today. And it's just as spectacular!

"I've only made 3 or 4 of these knives ever. When you see it you'll know why. The knife features full Titanium slabs and pinpoint checkering details on the handles. The lock bar is inletted into the inside of the handle and it is fully anodized a lovely electric pale blue. This rare and unique beauty is at the top of the Emerson prize list and very rare to boot."
And before that, he wrote about his Ultimate CQC-7s (paraphrased)
"The Ultimates are the finest knives that I have ever made! Hearkening back to my Pre-tac days, from a single Titanium slab he formed into what are the Scales & Bolsters, Checkering the scales while scalloping and satin finishing the bolsters. And for the first time in about 20 years, I anodized each piece." (He also incorporated an inset lockbar.)
