"Hi Jon--That was a custom order, "something special", and one of those knives that had a rocky start, but all came together. It got the Hybrid name because its a Hybrid of the A5 and the Squail with some Bowie mixed in. It also got the name because it was the first ( and only IIRC ) time I used a Framelock lock side with a bolstered linerlock mark side. So, in a rare occurrence, the "Hybrid" name came easy. :)."
