SOLD - Dressed in Monkey FRAG
John W. Smith makes at least as fine a knife as anybody in the Tactical Knife World--functional & effective, while being superbly Fitted and Finished. His work is extensively collected by his fellow knifemakers, and if he had a presence on the Knife Forums, his knives would bring twice what they now sell for.
Every time I am asked what is a good value in the Tactical Knife World--John W. Smith is my suggestion. "Who?" or "John W. Smith?" is unfortunately the reply I often get.
This Model is IMHO his best Tactical yet.
- He made it for the 2014 Monkey Muster (www.MonkeyEdge.com) Knife Show.
- And outfitted it with thick contoured Deep FRAG Blue-Grey G10 Handles that feel great and secure in hand.
- He Dovetailed Beautifully Finished Titanium Bolsters Bolsters.
- And Bladed it with a Slightly Over Thick Satin-Finished Clip-Point Grind.
- The Tip-up Pocket Clip's Finish Matches the Bosters.
- There are Dual-Scallops that Facilitate both Righty or Lefty Blade Deploy.
- The Backstrap is made of Matching Blue-Grey G10.
- The Geometry of the Action is Perfect, as is the Feel/Resistance of the Action.
- Lock-up is Textbook Good-Perfect 100% Far Left-side Overlap.

- Condition: New from John's Lottery at this year's Monkey Muster at the Monkey World Headquarters in Arizona. I did not win it, but I bought it at the show from the guy who did.
